At the heart of my work as a trauma and addictions professional is a simple belief: helping others heal is a calling. I consider it a privilege to partner with therapists like you—providing practical tools, clinical insight, and faith-driven encouragement on your journey to help others. My mission is to help you identify your goals as a clinician, remove barriers to your success, and equip you to confidently support clients struggling with sex and porn addiction.
I began my professional journey at Malone University in Canton, Ohio, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Business Administration. In 2004, I completed my Master of Arts at Indiana University, and by 2008, became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Indiana.
After several years as a general practitioner, I specialized in treating sexual addiction, training through the International Institute for Trauma and Addictions Professionals (IITAP) and earning my Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) credential. Because trauma and shame often fuel addiction, I further pursued advanced training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), a proven method for resolving traumatic memories, and later added Rapid Resolution Therapy (RRT) to my clinical toolkit.
Whether you're here to deepen your expertise or to sharpen your skills in helping clients break free from addiction, I’m honored to walk alongside you in this professional journey.
